IMPORTANT SHOW UPDATE - The Lead Singers of Classic Rock

Cheyenne Presents and the Cheyenne Civic Center are sharing an important show update regarding The Lead Singers of Classic Rock, scheduled for January 23, 2026, as part of the Thanks for the Memories concert series.

Due to serious and ongoing health issues, Tommy DeCarlo (former lead singer of Boston) will no longer be able to perform at this event. Tommy recently announced on social media channels that he is stepping away from all remaining performances while he focuses on his health, treatment, and recovery.

In his message to fans, he expressed how difficult the decision was and how deeply grateful he is for the love, support, and understanding shown to him and his family. He shared that his plan is to take the remainder of the year to focus on getting healthy, with the hope of returning to the stage strong in the Spring of 2026.

A GoFundMe campaign, written by his son, Tommy DeCarlo Jr., has been established to help support his father during this challenging time as he undergoes urgent medical care. The campaign reflects the family’s need for assistance while he focuses on recovery.

The Lead Singers of Classic Rock will take place as scheduled, with Jason Scheff, longtime lead singer of Chicago, headlining the night. We encourage the community to come out, fill the room, and celebrate the music—not only for an unforgettable night of classic rock, but also as a show of support and solidarity for Tommy DeCarlo as he continues his health journey.
