The Cheyenne Civic Center is thrilled to be part of this cherished tradition. As a long-standing hub for the arts, we are excited to contribute to the Artwalk by featuring a rotating selection of local and regional talent. Join us at our historic venue to enjoy exceptional artwork and immerse yourself in Cheyenne's dynamic arts scene.
About the Artist:
BARBARA J. WOLF
Barbara J. Wolf's ability to create art and work with various mediums has allowed her to develop a wide range of skills and to view the beauty around her with fresh perspective and appreciation. She has worked with acrylics, oils, watercolor, clay, and pastels, with pastels being her medium of choice since 2003.
Pastels are unique to Barbara, not only in the range of pigments available but also for their forgiving quality. It's not unusual for her to work with five or six pastel colors to achieve the precise hue and tone she wishes to express. This layering of colors helps her make a statement or evoke the feelings she strives to convey in her paintings. She also appreciates that pastels can stand the test of time, maintaining their vibrancy for years.
Barbara has studied with many artists throughout the places she’s lived. Through learning various techniques and styles, she has been able to find her own unique "voice" in painting. Her art has been exhibited in galleries across Michigan, Washington, California, and Wyoming.
Barbara holds a teaching degree from Central Michigan University and a Master’s Degree from Aquinas College. Her diverse background in sculpting, painting, and dance—as a performer, teacher, and choreographer—allows her to view her surroundings in inspiring and unique ways.

Beware of Ticket Scalpers
Do you really have a ticket? Not if you bought it from a 3rd party. A ticket scalper is a 3rd party who buys tickets to a performance from us and sells them to you for more money but you don’t actually have a seat. That’s right friends, you just paid more than the face value for a ticket or 10 and probably don’t even get to see the show. -
